Located in the serene Vallecitos Valley, along the banks of the Vallecitos river with gently sloping hay fields reaching from Carson National Forest on the West to the river on the east, this historic property has long been the most prominent structure located in this historic village. While annually raising a substantial crop of hay, the most recent use of the property was a small tourist opperation offering horseback trips into the surrounding national forest. The property is currently unoccupined although the present owner has made substantial imrovements to the guest house as well as continuing to maintain the primary home. The property offers great potential for a new owner. Surface irrigation rights are secure from the Vallecitos West Ditch association.
