Sherie’s philosophy in life, and in business, is ‘A Life Lived in Joy’. “Helping others with their major life transition in buying or selling a home, in a manner that creates the most positive outcome in the least stressful way, has proven to be very rewarding and has brought many people into my sphere who are now friends for life,” Sherie says.
A native New Mexican, Sherie is drawn to Santa Fe. “Santa Fe’s diverse culture allows many people to pursue their passions in life in a magnificent setting!” She was also drawn to the abundance of art, in all its forms, and the myriad of cultural activities our city offers.
Sherie’s love and compassion for people, and her connection to the community, are apparent. She is passionate about supporting several non-profits in their efforts to make a personal difference in people’s lives. Each year she does fund-raising for Alzheimers research through their annual walk. Sherie also founded the Teddy Bear Project, which allows Police, Firemen and pediatric wards in hospitals to put a child at ease in scary and stressful situations by giving them a stuffed animal to hold. And, her entire family has adopted Foster Care Gives. Every December, each member of her family buys holiday gifts for children and adults in this program. “It has become a beautiful tradition, and my whole family finds it a pleasure to help people who are not as lucky as we have been to enjoy the holidays,” says Sherie.

Although Sherie loves to travel and ride horses, her biggest passion and interest in life is her family, by blood or of the heart.
