Licensed as a REALTOR since 1992, Mark brings a solid background in real estate, combined with previous expertise as the manager of a Santa Fe design firm, which he help build into a multi-million dollar business.

With every client he strives for an organized transaction from initial contact, to identifying a home, to the closing table. This attention to detail is made possible by the team approach that Mark and his assistant, Ian Lockwood, take to all listings and transactions.

“I love what I do,” Mark says. “It’s not about just making a living, it’s about getting to the core of what clients want, and the pleasure of making it happen.” Mark grew up in Tulsa, and has lived in Santa Fe since 1998. When not assisting buyers and sellers, he enjoys hiking with his English Cream lab, Molly, or spending time in his garden.

Upon Mark’s invitation, Ian Lockwood joined Banham & Associates in 2015 to assist with Mark’s growing list of clients. As the Operations Manager and a licensed Associate Broker, Ian helps with all aspects of the business, including transaction coordination, marketing and client relations.

Much of what Ian does is behind-the-scenes, however his methodical and thorough approach to real estate ensures that all clients are taken care of on a daily basis. On any given day Ian can be found drafting contracts, monitoring deadlines, executing marketing plans, researching property details, or fielding client questions. When not working Ian often spends his time exploring farmer’s markets and watching documentary films.
