"I had solar panels on my roof, and was receiving a check from PNM every month for the power they were generating. The first realtors I contacted, friends of mine, wanted me to list the house at $279K, which seemed really low. The next realtor initially agreed with me, but then admitted that he had no idea how to value solar panels - and so wanted to value them at nada, and began trying to talk me down on the price we'd agreed on, even suggesting that one part of the house shouldn't be included in square footage because it was heated differently from the rest. And then along came Tami, who had a formula for pricing green housing features, and suggested a much higher asking price - even higher than the price I finally decided on. The home was sold in a month, after easy negotiations, for $310K - $31,000 more than the first realtors suggested as a starting price. The only glitch in the process was that the home inspectors were permitted to come over without my having been given notice, and it was the day after a flood in the neighborhood, so I'd had no time to clean up the debris. This misstep did not end up affecting the purchase price, but it was an uncomfortable moment.""

"One of my closest friends for 30 years with dementia was having his home foreclosed on. He was unaware of the severity of the situation. I called his wife and had her go thru the mail from the mortgage company. She discovered that they were going to be evicted from their home within six weeks. I  called Tamara Acker who is the best realtor in town. She is an old fashioned realtor. The new generation of realtors lists properties and do not show them. Tamara is so hard working.
