Jeff Assad has lived his entire adult life in Northern New Mexico, and his roots in the region run deep. Although he grew up near Toronto, Canada, he effectively earned himself the status of a local through eighteen years of work experience in New Mexican home construction, landscaping, and custom furniture design. Jeff was associated with green development and its principles before sustainability emerged as a mainstream concept. He began as a laborer mentored by a local pioneer of green building and advanced through years of hard work, learning the makings of a home literally from the ground up.
When he became the owner of several small businesses in Santa Fe, one of which was a custom woodshop he operated for eight years, Jeff found that his unique construction background informed his eye for detail and precision in design. Today, as a realtor, his insight into a building’s structural foundation combined with his keen sense of design can illuminate the remodeling possibilities in an existing residential or commercial property. Most importantly, as a business owner, Jeff’s sense of customer service was honed. As a realtor, Jeff’s business style is service driven, and his clients are treated as customers. Service is primary. This is how he gives back to the local culture he has come to love.
