Specializing in new construction, Louie swiftly carved out a niche for himself in the custom home market, earning the prestigious luxury home appraiser certification. Reflecting on the special nature of custom home builds in Santa Fe, he notes, “The custom home build in Santa Fe is a very unique process unlike anywhere else in the country.” Louie’s firsthand experience in witnessing the build process from inception to completion inspired him to undertake the construction of several custom homes and the renovation of others over the years. He emphasizes the personal and revered nature of residential homes, “The residential home is so sacred, it is your happy place, it’s very personal. There are no two homes alike, and that fascinates me.”
Louie, a Santa Fe native, has fully embraced the abundant outdoor recreation opportunities that his hometown offers. With passions ranging from mountain biking and hiking to fly fishing, horseback riding, and archery big game hunting, he leads a life deeply intertwined with nature. For over 25 years, he has served as a professional fly fishing and hunting guide, venturing into locales such as Alaska, Colorado, and the vast expanse of northern New Mexico. Sharing his thoughts on his outdoor pursuits, Louie expresses, “I love to see fellow outdoorsmen and women be successful in their outdoor endeavors. I genuinely just like to help people.”
This innate quality of helping others ultimately propelled Louie toward a career in real estate sales.
