Ria is a native Santa Fean who had the unique experience of growing up on Canyon Road in a family of artists that owned a long-time gallery. Having lived out of state for many years she feels incredibly fortunate to call this beautiful area home once again.

While living in the Bay Area in California, she followed her love of animals and worked in veterinary clinic management, started her own thriving pet sitting business which she ran for over twenty years, volunteered for rescue organizations, and also went back to school to obtain an AS degree in Interior Design and an AA in Liberal Arts. After returning to the Santa Barbara area where she obtained her first undergraduate degree, she focused on Residential and Hospitality Design with a well-known firm, continued her work with animals, and started a family.

With this background in administration, exceptional customer service, and architecture and design she is well qualified as a broker to give clients the care and attention they need to successfully navigate the home buying or selling process.

As Stephanie Duran’s Assistant, her role is to streamline processes, manage documents and contractual deadlines, and coordinate logistics. Her great attention to detail and love of organization blends well with the team’s dynamic and well honed expertise. She is dedicated to keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring that every detail is taken care of, allowing Stephanie to focus on exceeding her client’s expectations.

When not viewing gorgeous Santa Fe properties, Ria can be found exploring New Mexico’s vast wilderness and enjoying time with family and friends.
