While in college, Coleen earned her degree with a rare triple major in three very different subjects: Psychology, French and Speech/Theatre. She even minored in History/Government. She would get so intrigued by different classes, she always wanted to learn more. And she did. Her biggest passion, though, was the theatre. Coleen performed in many different plays and ultimately worked as one of the top administrators for the New Mexico Repertory Theatre here in Santa Fe, which is unfortunately no longer around.
Coleen came to Santa Fe more than 20 years ago, and though her time with the theatre wasn’t as long as she would have hoped, she was introduced to a way of life beyond her imagination. She fell in love with New Mexico’s capital city. From the culturally diverse people who make up this wonderful community to the natural beauty throughout the area in all four seasons, Coleen knew she had found her home. This is where she and her husband, Skip, have raised their children and continue to make the most of life together.
After her theatre days, Coleen turned to another lifelong passion for her career: real estate. In fact, you might say it was in her blood. Her parents were successful brokers in Colorado and Coleen was exposed to the industry at a young age. She can recall many conversations about real estate around the dinner table. I couldn’t help but absorb some knowledge of the business, she says. Most importantly, I saw my parents’ shared passion for their clients and I’d like to think that commitment to customer service rubbed off on me.
If you ask any of Coleen’s clients over the past 15-plus years, they’ll tell you it certainly did. She’s built a strong reputation in the Santa Fe market. Fittingly, she’s most known for her extensive knowledge of real estate. Coleen serves within the Association of REALTORS® on local and state levels. She’s part of many committees and local charities, which helps her stay in tune with everything happening in the industry. She uses this knowledge to educate her clients throughout the buying or selling process. She opens doors for people—both literally and figuratively—by providing timely information and sound guidance so they can make informed decisions.
